CYBER PROTOCOLS DEFINED BY THE AUSTRALIAN CYBER SECURITY CENTRE
MICROSOFT’S AUSTRALIAN CYBER SECURITY CENTRE CERTIFICATIONS FOR THEIR CLOUD SERVERS ARE MAINTAINED AT THE PROTECTED LEVEL FOR CLASSIFIED INFORMATION.
This level of certification is in line with specifications by the ACSC Information Security Manual (ISM), which includes independent assessment of Microsoft’s certified cloud servers by the Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP).
These assessments are tailored to deliver appropriate information to the relevant authorities (ACSC or an individual agency’s authorising officer) that enables the thorough consideration of risks related with granting an Authority to Operate for systems that currently hold IRAP certifications along with new systems that have not already been assessed.
